We are committed to fostering a strong sense of belonging and promoting cultural awareness
The Yoruba Community in Scotland (YCS) is a non-profit, non-political organisation established to unite people of Yoruba heritage and friends of Yoruba culture across Scotland. Our community serves as a platform for cultural preservation, mutual support, and social integration, while celebrating the rich traditions, language, and values of the Yoruba people.
What we do
Language & Cultural Education
Promoting Yoruba language learning, history, values, and cultural education for children and adults.
Youth & Family Engagement
Supporting Yoruba youth and families through mentorship, cultural identity programmes, and social activities.
